BIOTONE began in the late 1970s as a company dedicated to creating natural skin care products. Later on, the founder was approached and asked to create a line of all-natural massage lubricants. Her development of a unique massage crème at a time when massage lotions and oils were the only products available established BIOTONE as a leader in the massage therapy market. This original cream product provided massage therapists with an all-natural lubricant that provided a good amount of workability while being easy to wash out of sheets. BIOTONE massage products still have those desirable qualities today.
