Chattanooga first introduced the hydrocollator back in 1947. Hydrocollators are used primarily by athletic trainers and physical therapists to treat injuries and help manage pain. The hydrocollator warms special bentonite-filled cloth heating pads. When removed from the temperature controlled water, the pads are placed inside special covers and applied to the injured area. The Chattanooga Hydrocollator M-4 Mobile Heating Unit comes with a 27-gallon tank. It is easily maneuvered on 3" rubber swivel-type canisters. The mobile unit doesn't have to be hooked up to any plumbing thanks to an oversized drain that allows for easy filling and drainage. Its steel construction and installation help cut energy costs and the unit even comes with two thermostats. The pair will prevent overheating and will let you know when the water levels are too low.
